This is a new Dayton model 3BB96A submersible sewage ejector pump rated at 3 HP, 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz with a full-load amperage of 6.1A and 1750 RPM motor speed — all confirmed directly from the nameplate. The cast iron volute and motor housing are designed for continuous submerged operation in sewage and wastewater ejector pit applications, with a 3 in NPT discharge and capacity to pass solids up to 2-1/2 in diameter. Insulation is Class B, maximum liquid temperature is 40°C, and the unit carries CSA (CSA 108), UL 778, and LR 1656 listings per the nameplate. The pump ships with an unterminated lead cable (visible in photos) and must be wired to an approved motor starter with overload protection sized to FLA; it is not intended for flammable liquids, swimming pools, or decorative fountain installations.
