The Dayton 804T19 is a heavy-duty electric unit heater rated 5 kW at 480 V AC, 3 phase, 60 Hz, with a 6.0 A rating on the nameplate and a 480 V fan motor. It uses a 24 V control circuit, so it requires a low-voltage thermostat or control, and the unit is UL listed to the 774G standard as a room heater. The beige steel housing has adjustable stainless-look louvers behind a wire guard, a rear air inlet and side venting, and it mounts to a wall or ceiling for horizontal or vertical airflow. Nameplate minimum mounting clearances for horizontal airflow are 6 in at the side, 9.5 in at the back, 2 in to the ceiling and 7 ft to the floor; for vertical airflow they are 18 in at the side, 18 in at the back, 6 in to the ceiling and 7 ft to the floor. The heater is assembled in the USA and this one is new in its original carton, with the instruction manual shown with the unit.
