The DelVal 50040241B1B0 is a new 4-inch (DN100) Series 50 wafer-style resilient-seated butterfly valve rated at 175 PSI, manufactured in India by DelVal Flow Controls (www.delvalflow.com) and dated May 2018. The body is ductile iron (DI), the disc is CF8M (316 stainless steel casting grade), the seat is NBR (Buna-N) rubber as confirmed by the product label, and the stem is SS410 (410 stainless steel) as stamped directly on the stem — the outer box also lists an EPDM seat variant under a separate MFG code, but the valve label and seat ring confirm NBR for this unit. The wafer configuration installs between standard flanges without gaskets per the caution label instructions (disc 10° open during installation, bolt tightened in crisscross pattern), and the ISO 5211 top-flange mounting pad accepts standard actuator or lever/gear operator mounting.
