Diablo D1490CF Steel Demon 14in 90T Cermet II Carbide Metal Cutting Saw Blade

The Diablo D1490CF Steel Demon is a new, 14-inch diameter, 90-tooth circular saw blade engineered for cutting ferrous metals including mild steel and stainless steel in metal-cutting miter saws rated up to 1,800 max RPM. Teeth are tipped with Cermet II carbide — a ceramic and metallic blend formulation that Diablo rates at up to 25x longer cutting life versus standard abrasive grinding discs — ground to a Modified Triple Chip Grind (MTCG) geometry that produces burr-free, spark-reduced cuts with extended edge life. The blade body features Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating to reduce drag, gumming, and corrosion, along with advanced stabilizer vents for vibration and noise damping, precision computer-controlled tensioning for blade flatness, and tri-metal shock-resistant brazing behind each tooth seat. Rated cutting capacities are 1/16"–1/4" wall thickness for steel studs, channel, angle iron, pipe, tubing, and EMT conduit; 1/8"–1/2" wall thickness for plate and bar stock; and 1/4"–1-1/2" diameter for threaded rod. The 1-inch arbor bore fits standard 14-inch corded metal miter saws, and the blade is optimized specifically for 14-inch corded machines.
