The Dijet MXG-5125-M16LG is a new, indexable milling cutter head from the QM MAX G2 series, designed for high-feed and general-purpose milling operations. The part number decodes as follows: MXG = QM MAX G2 series multi-flute milling head; 5125 = 1-1/4 in (approximately 31.75 mm) cutting diameter; M16 = M16 threaded shank interface for mounting to compatible Dijet modular tool bodies or arbors; LG = long gauge length variant. The cutter body accepts Dijet XDGT-type indexable carbide inserts secured via torx/hex clamping screws, and features through-coolant capability via the center bore visible in the photos, enabling both flood and high-pressure coolant delivery to the cutting zone.
