The Dijet XOGT160508PDFR is a new, uncoated (bright/polished finish) indexable carbide milling insert in grade FZ05, a Dijet fine-grain cemented carbide grade optimized for non-ferrous and aluminum milling applications. Decoding the part number: XO = 55° diamond (rhombic) shape; G = 0° clearance; T = tight tolerance class; 1605 = 16 mm inscribed circle, 05 mm thick; 08 = 0.8 mm nose radius; PDF = positive-rake chipbreaker geometry for light, smooth cutting; R = right-hand cutting edge orientation. The polished rake face and positive PDF geometry minimize built-up edge and produce excellent surface finishes when machining aluminum alloys, copper, and other non-ferrous metals. These inserts are compatible with Dijet milling cutter bodies designed for the XOGT 16xx insert pocket family, and the box contains 10 pieces per the original factory packaging (Dijet part 11216-Z4793).
