The Dixon QM4WF is a new male head pneumatic quick-acting coupling with an integral ferrule, constructed of zinc-plated steel with a brass knurled locking collar, designed for reliable push-twist-and-click engagement in heavy-duty industrial compressed-air service. The "QM" series denotes Dixon's quarter-turn manual (push-twist) locking mechanism, the "4" encodes the Series 4 (European-style, 26 mm body) interchange, "W" indicates a steel (zinc-plated) body, and "F" designates the fixed ferrule end connection for hose attachment — the ferrule bore visible in the bottom-view photo accepts a rubber air hose that is then compressed and secured by the steel ferrule sleeve, eliminating the need for a separate hose clamp or crimp fitting. The coupling mates with any Dixon Series 4 / QM-series female socket and delivers a positive, vibration-resistant lock well-suited to pneumatic tools, production lines, maintenance air drops, and mobile equipment air circuits. The steel body carries a zinc chromate (gold-iridescent) plating for corrosion resistance, and the brass knurled collar provides positive grip during connect/disconnect even with gloved hands.
