EPDM AMTE ANSI206 125/150 Lead-Free 6" 2 Sphere Flanged Rubber Expansion Joint

This is a new 6-inch (150mm) twin-sphere flanged rubber expansion joint constructed with EPDM tube and EPDM cover (Type EE per label), designed to absorb vibration, thermal expansion, and pipe misalignment in piping systems. Flanges are drilled to ANSI/ASME B16.1 Class 125/150 pattern — confirmed visible on the flange stamping — making it directly compatible with standard cast iron and carbon steel flanged piping. The unit is lead-free in accordance with NSF/ANSI 372, qualifying it for potable water and plumbing applications where lead-free compliance is mandated. A galvanized steel retaining ring is present at the mid-sphere junction, and the internal bore shows a smooth EPDM liner seating surface at the flange face. Manufactured date code 32.07.2024 is visible on the box label; control units (limit rods) are not included and must be fitted when the pipeline is not independently anchored, per the printed installation warning.
