The Erickson 100TG0406 is a new TG100 (TG style, 100-series) precision collet with a 13/32" (0.40625") bore capacity, manufactured to accept round shank tooling in compatible TG100 collet chucks. The TG collet system features a dual-angle design — a front taper and a rear taper — that provides higher clamping force and greater concentricity than standard ER collets, with typical runout of 0.0002" TIR, making it well-suited for high-speed milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping operations on CNC machining centers. The collet is constructed from hardened alloy steel with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance and is compatible with all TG100-style collet chucks, including Erickson, Kennametal, and equivalent TG100 toolholders. The part number 100TG0406 decodes as: 100 = TG100 collet series, TG = TG collet style, 04 = nominal bore size group (13/32"), 06 = length/configuration code.
