Ermco 9F54DBA701 8.4kV 1.2A Distribution Transformer Expulsion Fuse

The Ermco 9F54DBA701 is a new expulsion fuse designed for use in distribution transformers, rated 8.4 kV maximum voltage and 1.2 amperes as clearly marked on the ceramic fuse body. Expulsion fuses of this type use a fiber or organic-lined tube to quench the arc upon overcurrent interruption by expelling ionized gases, and the ceramic (porcelain) body provides the required dielectric strength and thermal stability at distribution voltage levels. The fuse is mounted in a metal clip-and-bracket assembly with one threaded stud terminal and one eyelet/lug terminal, a configuration typical for bayonet or loop-type mounting inside pad-mounted or overhead distribution transformers. Date-coded JAN 05 2023, this is new old stock in uninstalled condition with no evidence of operation or thermal stress.
