Federal Mogul BCA 42690 4.25" OD USA Tapered Roller Bearing Cone

This is a new-old-stock Federal Mogul BCA 42690 tapered roller bearing cone, manufactured in the USA and sold in the original Federal Mogul BCA Bearing box (date code B12893). The 42690 is the cone (inner race assembly) of the 42690/42620 tapered roller bearing set, featuring a 2.5625" (2-9/16") bore, approximately 4.2500" outer cone diameter, and a 1.1875" width, with a 15-degree nominal contact angle designed to handle combined radial and thrust loads. The steel cage retains a full complement of tapered rollers visible in the photos, and the bore surface shows the characteristic ground finish consistent with ABMA/ANSI dimensional standards for this inch-series cone. The 42690 cone mates with the 42620 cup (sold separately) and sees service in heavy-duty automotive axle, agricultural equipment, construction machinery, and industrial gearbox applications where high radial and axial load capacity is required.
