The Foredom H.8 is a slim, collet-style general-purpose handpiece designed for use with Foredom flexible shaft machines (Series SR, TX, and other compatible units). It accepts 3/32 in (2.35 mm) shank accessories via a screw-collet chuck tightened with the included 3/4 in open-end wrenches, and ships new with two wrenches on a ball chain, a spare collet pin, and a clear plastic storage case. The handpiece body features a knurled aluminum grip section, a blue anodized locking ring for shaft engagement, and a set screw for securing the flexible shaft inner shank; maximum rated speed is 18,000 RPM. Typical applications include jewelry fabrication, engraving, carving, deburring, grinding, and light milling where a slim pen-style grip provides access to confined workspaces.
