The Fraisa D5850532 is a new, solid carbide corner-radius end mill with a 1/2 in (0.5000 in) cutting diameter, 1/2 in shank diameter, 1/2 in length of cut, and 3-1/4 in overall length, as confirmed by the product label (ø0.5000/0.500 r0.030) and the engraved shank markings (0.5, r0.03, HM MG10 fc). The tool features six flutes ground from a submicron-grain tungsten carbide substrate (HM grade MG10), delivering exceptional toughness and wear resistance for high-feed finishing and semi-finishing passes. The dark AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating — indicated by the "fc" (fraisa-coat) designation on the shank and the visually dark body — provides high surface hardness, oxidation resistance up to approximately 900 °C, and suitability for dry or minimal-lubricant cutting in hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and nickel-based superalloys.
