Garr 50241 V4-S 3/8x2-1/2 in 4FL 1 in F/L AlCrN Carbide End Mill w/ Weldon Flat

The Garr Tool 50241 is a new, solid carbide square-end end mill from the V4-S series, ground to 3/8 in (0.375 in) cutting diameter with a 2-1/2 in overall length and a 1 in flute length. It features four flutes for improved surface finish and feed rates in ferrous materials, and carries a Weldon flat on the shank for positive drive in standard Weldon-style side-lock toolholders. The AlCrN (Aluminum Chromium Nitride) PVD coating provides excellent oxidation resistance and hardness at elevated temperatures, making this end mill well-suited for dry or near-dry machining of hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and heat-resistant alloys. Manufactured by Garr Tool in Alma, MI, USA, this end mill is packaged new in its original protective tube and is compliant with ANSI shank tolerances for direct use in collet chucks or Weldon holders accepting 3/8 in shanks.
