The Gast 2AM-NCC-96 is a rotary vane air motor rated 0.9 hp with 19.5 in-lb of torque at 3,000 RPM and 30 cfm air consumption, built in a cast iron housing. It has a 1/4 in NPT inlet port, counterclockwise rotation and a hub (flange-style) mounting with a keyed output shaft. The unit carries ATEX marking Ex II 2 GD (Ex h IIC T4 Gb, Ex h IIIC T135°C Db) for ambient temperatures of +1°C to +40°C, making it suited to use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Gast 2AM series motors are used to drive mixers, agitators, conveyors and other equipment where spark-free pneumatic power is needed. This item is new and ships with the AC080 muffler/exhaust fitting shown in the photos.
