The Gast 6AM-NRV-22A is a new, industrial-grade reversible vane-type air motor rated at 4 HP, delivering 84 in-lb of stall torque at a free-speed of 3,000 RPM with an air consumption of 130 CFM at 90 PSI inlet pressure. The motor features a face-mount (flange) configuration with a 1/2 in NPT inlet/exhaust port and a square-keyed output shaft, allowing direct integration into machinery or gearbox assemblies without a separate adapter plate. It carries full ATEX/IECEx Zone 2 Gas and Zone 21 Dust hazardous-location certification (II 2 GD, Ex h IIC T4 Gb, Ex h IIIC T135°C Db) as read from the label, making it suitable for use in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, mining, and other explosive-atmosphere environments where electric motors are prohibited. The die-cast aluminum housing provides a lightweight, corrosion-resistant enclosure, and the unit is CE and UKCA marked per the labels visible in the photos. Year of manufacture is 2025 per the label; internal reference R-AD665 is visible on the housing.
