The Gast K264 is a new OEM maintenance and repair kit designed specifically for Gast 48 Frame piston series air compressors and vacuum pumps. The kit includes a head gasket, cylinder gasket, piston valve assembly (valve plate), piston ring, piston seal/rider ring, and two felt intake/exhaust filter elements — all components needed to restore factory performance during a scheduled or corrective overhaul. Per Gast's published maintenance guidelines (document 70-2150 Rev. E), filter elements should be inspected at 500-hour intervals and all rings replaced when rider ring thickness measures 0.055 in or less; under clean-air sea-level conditions at 65–75°F, a full rebuild interval of 4,000 operating hours is recommended. This kit is compatible with Gast 48 frame piston pump and compressor models and is supplied in a sealed plastic clamshell case with the official Gast installation instruction sheet; Gast is ISO 9001 certified.
