This Gates G20735-1628 (description code 16GS-28MKB) is a permanent crimp-style hydraulic hose coupling from the Gates GS series, with a size -16 (1 in) hose stem and a 28 mm male metric threaded end. The body is a hex-flatted steel fitting with a bright zinc-type plated finish and a stepped, ribbed hose barb marked with a green identification band. A protective plastic cap covers the threaded end. Made in the USA and sold new in the original Gates bag, it is intended for hydraulic hose assemblies, and the hose must be matched to the GS coupling series and crimped to Gates specifications.
