Gesswein 4256306 EDM Finishing Stones are aluminum oxide abrasive sticks engineered specifically for polishing EDM-machined (electrical discharge machined) surfaces on molds and dies. Each stone measures 1" × 1" × 6" and carries a 320 grit designation, making them suited for intermediate finishing work — removing the recast layer and spark erosion texture left by wire or sinker EDM operations before progressing to finer grits. The peach/salmon-colored aluminum oxide bond is formulated to be friable, continuously exposing fresh abrasive and preventing glazing on hardened tool steels, P20, H13, and stainless mold steels. This package contains 6 new stones, part number 4256306 (also stamped on each stick as 425-6306), manufactured in the USA, and is the standard 1×1×6 size compatible with common mold polishing fixtures and hand stoning applications.
