GF Gage G7011671 3/8-18 NPTF Class L1 Pipe Thread Plug Gage

This is a new GF Gage model G7011671, a single-end tapered pipe thread plug gage for 3/8-18 NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) threads per ASME B1.20.3, Class L1 (hand-tight engagement length). The hardened steel plug member is ground to NPTF L1 tolerance, verifying thread form, taper, and hand-tight engagement in a single measurement pass; the green anodized aluminum handle is marked "GF GAGE" and "3/8-18 NPTF-L1" in white lettering, confirming the size and class directly on the tool. Single-end (SE) configuration positions the L1 plug member at one end, eliminating the need for a separate L1 and L2 check on the same handle. The gage ships with a GF Gage Certificate of Compliance traceable to NIST, measured in a 68°F temperature-controlled laboratory meeting MIL-STD-45662A, as clearly shown on the included documentation.
