GF Gage T150099AL1K 1 1/2-11 1/2 NPT Taper Pipe Thread Ring Gage

This is a new GF Gage T150099AL1K taper pipe thread ring gage for 1 1/2-11 1/2 NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads, serialized 604915 as stamped on the reverse face. The gage is manufactured to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standard for NPT pipe threads and is used to verify the taper, lead, and thread form of external (male) NPT pipe threads on fittings, nipples, and threaded pipe ends. GF Gage produces these to NIST-traceable calibration tolerances; the "L1" designation in the part number indicates this is an L1 (basic) functional length ring gage — the standard go/no-go acceptance gage for NPT external threads per B1.20.1 (the pipe is accepted when it engages within ±1 turn of the L1 handtight engagement plane). The knurled OD on the black-oxide face visible in the third photo provides a positive grip during use, and the hardened steel body construction ensures long service life and dimensional stability in production floor environments.
