The Global CNC 86-04 #4B is a Morse Taper No. 4 inside-taper adapter sleeve that converts an MT4 spindle socket to accept a straight-shank toolholder or cutting tool, with a 5-3/4 in. (146 mm) overall length. Manufactured from alloy steel that is hardened and ground throughout, this sleeve provides the dimensional accuracy and surface finish required for repeatable tool alignment in lathe tailstocks, drill press quills, and milling machine spindles equipped with an MT4 bore. The external straight shank and flanged collar are clearly visible in the photos, and the internal MT4 taper bore features a drive tang slot for positive rotational engagement; a through-hole in the shank allows use of a drift punch for tool ejection.
