This is a new Grainger item 36D705, designated as the "C" 4×4 assortment, containing 260 pieces of tabbed, slotted shims made from 18-8 stainless steel. The assortment includes 13 thickness sizes — .001, .002, .003, .004, .005, .010, .015, .020, .025, .050, .075, .100, and .125 in — with 20 pieces of each thickness, packaged in a heavy-duty black steel toolbox with a foam-lined lid and a positive latch closure. Each shim measures 4 in × 4 in with a center slot for easy installation around shafts or bolts without full disassembly, and the tabbed design allows for quick identification and retrieval. 18-8 stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and durability suitable for machinery leveling, pump and motor alignment, conveyor systems, and precision equipment shimming applications.
