The assortment covers 13 thickness increments — .001, .002, .003, .004, .005, .010, .015, .020, .025, .050, .075, .100, and .125 in — with 20 pieces of each thickness, providing a broad range for precision alignment and leveling tasks. The slotted (open-end) tab design allows shims to be inserted around a fastener or shaft without full disassembly, and the 18-8 stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance suitable for machine tool bases, pumps, motors, compressors, and other industrial equipment alignment applications.
