Guhring 8522-4.300 4.3mm Ratiobohrer HF Signum Carbide Twist Drill

The Guhring No. 8522-4.300 is a new, solid carbide Ratiobohrer HF Signum series twist drill with a 4.3 mm cutting diameter, featuring internal through-coolant channels visible at the drill tip — a hallmark of the HF (Hochleistungsbohrer mit Kühlkanal, i.e., high-performance through-coolant) designation. The Signum series utilizes a proprietary Guhring carbide substrate with a wear-resistant coating (WN R-RT1 per the label, indicating a TiAlN-family Guhring Signum multilayer coating optimized for steels and cast iron), a split-point geometry for self-centering entry, and precision-ground flutes for consistent chip evacuation at high feeds. Designed for use in CNC machining centers with through-spindle coolant capability, this drill targets steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous workpiece materials at elevated cutting speeds. The cylindrical shank is sized to accept standard ER or hydraulic collet chucks appropriate for the 4.3 mm shank diameter. Sold individually (Stück: 1) as shown on the factory label.
