This is a new Guhring solid carbide square-end end mill, EDP 9031530095200, sized 3/8 in cutting diameter x 3/8 in shank diameter x 1 in length of cut x 2-1/2 in overall length. The tool features a 30° helix angle and four flutes, ground to Guhring's standard tolerances for straight-shank end mills. It is coated with Guhring's proprietary FIREX coating — a multi-layer, high-temperature-resistant PVD AlCrN-based coating engineered to reduce heat transfer into the substrate, extending tool life in ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials including alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and hardened steels up to approximately 63 HRC. The straight shank is compatible with standard ER collet chucks, milling chucks, and Weldon-flat holders in the 3/8 in bore size. Made in Germany.
