GWS 36XF16 5/32 in Solid Carbide Twist Drill Bit

The GWS Tool Group 36XF16 is a new, solid carbide jobber-length twist drill bit in 5/32 in (0.15625 in / 3.969 mm) diameter, as read directly from the label. GWS's "36XF" series designates a solid carbide construction with an XF (extra fine/micrograin) carbide substrate, engineered for drilling hard and abrasive materials including hardened steels, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum, and composites at higher cutting speeds than HSS equivalents. The straight round shank is compatible with standard 3-jaw drill chucks and collet-style toolholding systems; the 118° or 135° split-point geometry (standard for this series) provides self-centering action and reduces thrust force. Sold as a single (qty 1) drill bit per the label notation "(1) 36XF16," this bit is suited for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held power drills where carbide rigidity and wear resistance are required.
