This is a set of three H&R Manufacturing soft lathe chuck jaws, part number 155-5.0, designed as replaceable top jaws for use on a 5-inch (5.0) lathe chuck — the '155' series designation and '5.0' suffix identify the chuck size compatibility directly from the stamped marking visible on the jaw back face. Each jaw features a serrated (knurled) gripping face for positive workpiece engagement and a stepped profile with T-slot or tongue-and-groove base geometry for mounting to the master jaw body; two through-holes per jaw accept the standard mounting bolts. Soft jaws of this type are machined from mild steel, allowing the user to bore the gripping face to a custom diameter in the shop for close-tolerance, near-zero-runout workholding on turned or near-net-shape parts. These jaws are listed as new — other condition, showing surface oxidation and residual cutting fluid from storage, consistent with unused surplus toolroom stock. Compatible with 5-inch three-jaw lathe chucks that accept the 155-series jaw pattern from H&R Manufacturing.
