This is a new set of three H&R Manufacturing part number 213-50 soft jaws, stamp-marked 'H&R MFG 213 50' on the base face of the uncoated jaw. Two of the three jaws retain their original rust-preventative amber/red coating (a phenolic-resin or oil-based preservative lacquer applied at the factory), while the third has been cleaned to bare steel — all three are unused and unmachined on the gripping face, confirming new/uncut condition. Soft jaws of this style are bored or turned in-place on the chuck to provide a custom gripping surface with virtually zero runout, and are used on manual and CNC lathe three-jaw scroll chucks when holding finished, thin-wall, or irregularly shaped workpieces that cannot be marred by hardened jaws. The serrated/tongue-and-groove base profile visible on the jaw top is the chuck-mount interface that locates the jaw to the master jaw serrations; the through-hole in each jaw body is the chuck scroll or clamp bolt clearance hole. H&R Manufacturing is a U.S.-based producer of replacement and OEM chuck jaws; part number 213-50 encodes the chuck size/jaw series and pitch compatibility — buyers should verify master jaw serration pitch and chuck brand compatibility before purchase.
