The Harvey Tool 13920-C3 is a new, solid submicron carbide miniature square end mill with a 1/64 in (0.0156 in / ~0.396 mm) cutter diameter and a 1/32 in (0.030 in) length of cut, designed for high-precision micro-machining in CNC machining centers and micro-milling applications. The tool features 2 flutes and carries an AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating, which provides elevated hardness, oxidation resistance up to approximately 800 °C, and reduced friction for improved tool life in ferrous and hardened steel materials. The 1/8 in shank diameter and 1-1/2 in overall length make it compatible with standard 1/8 in collet chucks and ER8/ER11 collet systems commonly used in micro-machining setups. The tapered reach profile visible in the photos provides added rigidity along the long reach while keeping the small-diameter cutting tip accessible for deep, narrow features. The -C3 suffix in the Harvey Tool designation indicates the AlTiN coating variant within their miniature square end mill series.
