The Harvey Tool 31647 is a new, solid carbide 5° Flared Corner Rounding End Mill with a 0.047" corner radius, 0.046" pilot diameter, and 2-flute construction, uncoated. This specialty geometry produces a precise convex edge break on part edges and is designed with a 5° flare angle that allows the cutting profile to reach into recessed areas and undercuts that standard corner rounding tools cannot access. The pilot diameter of 0.046" (smaller than the corner radius) controls the depth of cut and ensures consistent, repeatable radii without over-cutting. Manufactured from submicron-grain carbide and sold uncoated, this tool is suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials where a bright carbide finish is preferred over a coated surface. Compatible with standard precision collet systems (ER collets, precision milling chucks) appropriate for the pilot shank diameter.
