The Harvey Tool 36593 is a new, solid carbide ball-nose end mill from Harvey Tool's Diamond End Mills series, designed with a diamond-pattern (cross-hatch) cut geometry optimized for machining non-ferrous materials such as graphite, carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other composite/abrasive workpiece materials. Per the packaging label, this tool measures .093 in. (3/32 in.) cutting diameter with a .500 in. length of cut (LOC) and a .950 in. reach, allowing access to shallow-to-medium-depth features while maintaining rigidity through its extended neck design. The ball-nose profile enables 3D contouring, profiling, and finishing operations in CNC machining centers, and the diamond cut flute pattern provides multi-directional cutting action that reduces workpiece delamination and fiber pullout in composite materials. The reduced-neck/tapered shank geometry visible in the photo provides clearance in deep-pocket applications while the standard cylindrical shank seats directly in ER collet chucks or precision end mill holders.
