The HeliCoil 7572-3B is a new, hand-operated Tangless® insert installation tool sized for #10-32 UNF thread inserts, manufactured by Stanley Engineered Fastening under the HeliCoil brand. Unlike traditional tanged installation tools, the Tangless design installs wire thread inserts without a drive tang, eliminating the separate tang-breakoff step and the risk of loose tang contamination in blind holes or critical assemblies — a key advantage in aerospace, defense, and precision electronics applications. The tool body features a red anodized aluminum handle with a green anodized locking collar and a precision-machined steel mandrel sized specifically for #10-32 Tangless inserts; two 3/8 in open-end spanner wrenches are included for mandrel adjustment and depth setting. This tool is compatible exclusively with HeliCoil Tangless inserts in #10-32 UNF thread size and is not interchangeable with standard tanged HeliCoil installation tools of the same thread size.
