Hertel 59924738 3/16x6in 135° Cobalt Aircraft Extension Drill Bit 10pk

This is a new factory pack of 10 Hertel aircraft-extension (extra-long) twist drill bits, part number 59924738, sized 3/16 in diameter by 6 in overall length, manufactured in China. The drills are ground from cobalt high-speed steel (M35/Co5 grade) and carry a black oxide surface treatment, which provides moderate corrosion resistance and reduced friction during cutting. The 135° split-point geometry self-centers on entry, eliminating the need for a pilot hole, and is well-suited for drilling through steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other ferrous materials that generate high cutting temperatures. The extended 6-inch body allows access to recessed or deep locations such as aircraft structural panels, automotive frames, and fabricated assemblies where a standard-length drill cannot reach. Shanks are round and sized to fit standard 3/16 in drill chucks or collet holders.
