Indicol 400II Dial Indicator 2-Arm Articulating Positioner & Holder

The Indicol 400II is a new two-arm articulating dial indicator positioner designed to hold dial test indicators and dial indicators in position for precise measurement setups on surface plates, machine tables, and similar metrology workholding. The unit features two independently adjustable arms joined at a central pivot clamp with a knurled locking knob, two spring-loaded ball-end plunger posts for securing the indicator stem, and a secondary articulating joint with a lever-lock handle for fine angular positioning. Construction is steel with a black oxide finish throughout; the central clamp ring accommodates a post or rod mount, and brass-tipped set screws visible in the photos protect contact surfaces from damage. The 400II is compatible with standard dial indicator stems and is intended for use as a positioning accessory on magnetic base systems, indicator stands, or surface plate setups where repeatable, rigid indicator placement is required.
