The Intermatic T1905E8 is a new industrial-grade mechanical program time switch rated for Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) operation at 20 A, with a switch rating of 1/2 HP at 125 VAC and 1 HP at 250 VAC, housed in a NEMA 1 steel enclosure with a hinged gray steel cover. The clock motor operates at 480 VAC, 60 Hz — making this the "8" suffix variant specifically suited for 480V industrial environments — and supports up to 48 tripper-based timing operations on a 24-hour dial with a minimum 15-minute ON or OFF increment. The unit can be wired for SPDT (normally open or normally closed) or SPST operation and includes a manual override lever, a spring-loaded retainer mechanism for easy mechanism removal, and CSA Listed certification (File LR1170). Typical applications include scheduling of HVAC equipment, lighting circuits, irrigation pumps, compressors, and other motor-driven loads in commercial and industrial settings where 480 VAC clock motor supply is available.
