Internal Tool 01-9016-B 1/2in 27.37° Solid Carbide Form Cutter

The Internal Tool 01-9016-B is a new, USA-made solid carbide special form cutter with a 0.500 in shank diameter, a 27.37° included form angle, a 0.183 in cutter width, a 0.050 in corner radius, and a 0.020 in secondary corner radius, as confirmed directly from the package label. Internal Tool manufactures this as a "Special" profile ground cutter from solid carbide for precision form-milling of custom profiles — such as undercuts, grooves, or contoured slots — where a standard geometry is not available. The necked-down relief between the shank and cutter head allows access to features requiring radial clearance, and solid carbide construction provides superior rigidity, wear resistance, and edge life compared to HSS in interrupted-cut and high-speed CNC milling applications. Compatible with any standard 1/2 in collet chuck or end mill holder (ER32, ER40, or equivalent); intended for use on CNC vertical machining centers or manual knee mills cutting steel, aluminum, or other machinable alloys.
