Internal Tool 76-1255 1/2in x 1/8in 10-Flute Solid Carbide Keyseat Cutter

The Internal Tool EDP# 76-1255 is a new, USA-made solid carbide keyseat cutter (also called a Woodruff key cutter or T-slot key cutter) constructed from micrograin carbide with a cobalt binder, providing superior wear resistance and rigidity compared to HSS equivalents. It features a 0.500 in head diameter, 0.1250 in head width, and 10 flutes, producing smooth finishes in keyseats and slots with high material removal rates. The dark surface finish visible on the shank is consistent with Internal Tool's standard treatment for carbide key cutters; the reduced-neck geometry allows clearance in deep or interrupted-slot applications. This cutter is designed for use in CNC or manual milling machines with a standard straight shank toolholder, and is well-suited for cutting Woodruff keyseats in steel, aluminum, and other machinable alloys. As a micrograin carbide product with a cobalt binder, grinding this tool produces hazardous dust — appropriate PPE is required per the label warning.
