This is a new Interstate part number 42054759, a Type C lathe tool holder bushing (also called a rotary tool holder bushing or gang tool holder bushing) designed to reduce the bore of a lathe turret or gang toolholder to accept a smaller-shank tool. The bushing features a 1-1/4" (1.250") inner diameter to accept standard round-shank tools, a 1-1/2" (1.500") outer diameter for press-fit seating in the toolholder or turret pocket, a 3-3/8" total length under the head flange, and a 3" slot length — the open longitudinal slot allows tool setscrew clamping through the bushing wall. Finished in a black oxide treatment for corrosion resistance, it is manufactured from hardened steel and is compatible with turret lathes, CNC gang-tooling setups, and any toolholder or turret block bored to 1-1/2" OD that requires a 1-1/4" ID bore reduction; the flanged head and ground OD ensure precise, repeatable tool alignment.
