This is a new Interstate 428-72811 single-station precision milling machine vise featuring an 8.000 in jaw width and 8-1/4 in maximum jaw opening, mounted on a full 360° swivel base with a graduated degree scale reading in 10° increments — clearly visible in the photos — allowing repeatable angular workholding setups without removing the vise from the table. The cast iron body is fitted with a ground steel fixed jaw and a sliding movable jaw driven by an ACME-thread leadscrew with a socket-drive spindle (socket handle included, as seen in photos), and the base incorporates T-slot mounting slots for standard milling machine tables. The precision-ground jaw faces and hardened steel jaws provide consistent clamping force and jaw parallelism suitable for milling, drilling, and boring operations on knee mills and bed mills. Condition is new; surface oxidation visible in photos is cosmetic and consistent with storage of an uncoated cast iron/steel workholding tool.
