The Interstate CAT50 606 is a new, Made-in-USA aluminum tool holder holding/tightening fixture designed to securely clamp CAT50 taper shank tool holders for insert changes, presetting, and assembly operations. The anodized aluminum clamp ring is split with a cam-action lever handle that locks and releases the tool holder without tools, and the clamp body mounts to a steel base plate (4 in × 4 in, 4-hole pattern on a 2.5 in square bolt circle, counterbored for ¼-20 SHCS) that can be bolted to a workbench top, workbench side, or tool cabinet surface. Two 3/8-16 SHCS fasten the clamp body to the base in two rotational positions (90° apart), and the lever handle itself features a push-button repositioning mechanism for additional orientation flexibility. The fixture accepts CAT50 (V-flange, 7/24 taper) tool holders and holds them rigidly while the retention knob or insert is torqued, preventing spindle and drawbar damage.
