The Irwin Hanson 26377 is a new 117-piece Combination Tap & Die Deluxe Super Set covering SAE machine screw sizes #4–#12, fractional inch sizes 1/4"–1/2" (6.3–12.7 mm), and metric sizes 3–12 mm, in UNC, UNF, NPT, and metric thread standards. The taps are plug-style high-speed steel (HSS) with a titanium coating for increased hardness and wear resistance; the dies are hexagonal HSS and fit the included adjustable die stocks (one titanium 1/4"–1/2" die wrench and one 0–1/2" tap wrench with a T-handle), along with a set of drill bit/spiral screw extractors packaged in an Irwin Hanson 28377POUCH 41-piece sub-pouch included in the case. All components store in a molded blue plastic blow-molded carrying case with dual yellow latches and a built-in tap-drill selector chart for quick drill size reference. The set addresses thread cutting, thread chasing, and broken-fastener extraction in steel, aluminum, cast iron, and plastics across automotive, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance applications.
