The Iscar DGR 2200JS-6D IC354 is a double-ended indexable carbide grooving insert from Iscar's DGFH/DGR family, designed for use in compatible Iscar DGFH-style toolholders and DGR slotting/grooving systems. The "2200" designates a 22 mm total insert length, "JS" indicates the JS-type chipbreaker geometry optimized for P, M, K, N, S, and H material groups across a broad cutting range, and "6D" specifies a 6 mm grooving width with a double-sided (2-edge) configuration. The grade IC354 is a CVD-coated carbide substrate featuring an Al₂O₃/TiCN multilayer coating over a tough carbide base, rated for ISO P applications and suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous materials, super alloys, and hardened materials. Recommended cutting data per the factory label: Vc = 50–120 m/min (170–400 SFM), fz = 0.03–0.08 mm/rev (0.0011–0.0031 IPR). Each factory-sealed Iscar plastic cassette contains 10 new, inspected inserts made in Israel.
