The Iscar DSD-EF 50.80-FB (catalog/order # 9920832, U3152) is a new, indexable face milling cutter body from Iscar's DOVE-IQ FEED system, designed to accept LNHU/LNKU-style high-feed square inserts at a near-zero lead angle for aggressive axial depth-of-cut face milling. The cutter body measures 50 mm in cutting diameter with an 80 mm overall body length, features a Fine-Bore (FB) connection — a precision threaded bore interface — for direct mounting onto compatible Iscar modular tooling adapters or arbors. The 4-insert pocket configuration (4 flutes) enables high metal removal rates in face milling, shoulder milling, and ramping operations on steel, stainless, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials. Manufactured in Japan per the label, the steel body features a nitrided/dark-finish treatment for corrosion resistance and is supplied with the torx insert clamping wrench. Compatible inserts from Iscar's LNHU/LNKU family (e.g., LNHU 11T3…) are sold separately.
