Iscar EC-A2 040-050/20C6R.5H55 IC702 4mm 2-Flute Carbide End Mill

This is a new Iscar EC-A2 040-050/20C6R.5H55 solid carbide end mill from Iscar's EC-A2 (Extra-Long Reach, 2-flute) series, ground in IC702 grade — a fine-grain submicron carbide substrate with Iscar's multi-layer nano-coating (SUMO-TEC / nACo-family blue-violet PVD coating) designed for hardened steels and difficult-to-machine materials up to approximately 65 HRC. The tool has a 4.0 mm cutting diameter, 6 mm shank diameter (d6, providing a necked-down reach profile for deep cavity clearance), 5.0 mm maximum depth of cut (ap5.0), 55 mm overall length (L55), 2 flutes (Z2), 30° helix angle (Ha30), center-cutting geometry (C), and a 0.50 mm corner radius (R0.50). The long-reach neck between the 6 mm shank and 4 mm cutting head makes this end mill suited for deep-pocket milling, rib machining, and die/mold work where tool reach is critical; it is compatible with ER collet chucks and any precision toolholder accepting a 6 mm shank.
