The Iscar ECKI1H1.5/4-7C1CFR.12T6*9 is a new, solid carbide 7-flute end mill from Iscar's ECK-H series, ground with chatter-free (variable helix/variable pitch) geometry specifically engineered to suppress harmonic vibration in high-material-removal-rate and deep-pocket milling operations. The cutter features a 1.000" cutting diameter, a 1.500" flute length (APMX), a 4.000" extended neck reach that allows the tool to access pockets well beyond what a standard-length end mill can reach while keeping the 1.000" shank clear of the workpiece walls, and a 6-1/8" total overall length. The 0.120" corner radius (CFR.12) distributes cutting forces across a reinforced edge profile, substantially reducing corner chipping under aggressive axial and radial engagement, and the IC900 carbide grade — confirmed on the box label — carries Iscar's PVD TiAlN-family coating optimized for hardened steels, stainless steels, high-temperature alloys, and cast irons at elevated cutting speeds.
