The Iscar MTECB 10092 C27 13UN is a solid carbide single-profile thread mill in IC908 grade, a PVD-coated submicron carbide grade optimized for threading in steels, stainless steels, and high-temperature alloys. The MPN decodes as follows: MTECB = multi-flute thread mill with internal coolant and bottom-cutting capability; 10092 = 10 mm cutting diameter with 9.2 mm thread length; C27 = 27 mm cylindrical shank diameter; 13UN = 13 threads per inch, UN (Unified National) thread form. The IC908 grade features a tough submicron carbide substrate with a PVD TiAlN-family coating (ISCAR's "T" coating family), providing excellent wear resistance and thermal stability for high-speed thread milling on CNC machining centers.
