Iscar RM-BN5-13.000-H7SA IC908 BAYO T-REAM Carbide Reaming Head

The Iscar RM-BN5-13.000-H7SA IC908 is a new solid carbide BAYO T-REAM interchangeable reaming head with a nominal diameter of 13.000 mm ground to H7 tolerance, designed for use in the BAYO T-REAM modular reaming system with BN5-series bayonet-type shanks. The IC908 grade is a PVD-coated submicron carbide grade featuring a TiAlN-based coating engineered for high cutting speeds, excellent wear resistance, and thermal stability, making it well-suited for reaming steel (P15–P30), stainless and alloy steels (M20–M30), and cast iron (K20–K30) as confirmed on the label. The "H7SA" suffix denotes an H7 precision bore tolerance with a through-coolant-compatible design and the "SA" chipformer/geometry designation for the reaming flute configuration; the head features 5 flutes (BN5) visible in the product image as the multi-lobed cutting body with chamfered leading edges, and it interfaces with compatible BAYO T-REAM bayonet shanks for rapid head-change capability without removing the toolholder from the spindle.
