The JB Industries DVO-24 Black Gold Premium Vacuum Pump Oil is a new, ultra-pure, non-detergent mineral oil formulated specifically for HVAC/R rotary vane vacuum pumps, meeting ISO 46 viscosity grade. The oil undergoes catalytic hydro-processing to remove impurities, resulting in a clear fluid with low vapor pressure that ensures proper vane sealing and internal lubrication — critical to achieving and maintaining deep vacuum levels. A key diagnostic feature is its contamination indicator: the oil turns cloudy or milky when moisture or refrigerant is absorbed, signaling the technician to drain and replace the oil immediately while the pump is still warm. Each jug contains 1 gallon (3.78 liters) and includes a translucent sight strip molded into the rear of the opaque black HDPE container with quart and liter graduation marks, and an induction-sealed tamper-evident cap confirming the product is factory-sealed and unused.
