Jet-Lube NIKAL (Item No. 13623) is a nickel-based high-temperature anti-seize and thread lubricant compound packaged in a new, sealed 8 lb (3.6 kg net) pail, manufactured March 2023 (lot/control number 256036). Rated for continuous service from -65°F (-54°C) to 2,600°F (1,427°C), NIKAL is formulated with finely divided nickel powder in a high-temperature carrier grease, making it suitable for stainless steel, high-alloy, and exotic metal fasteners and fittings where copper or zinc-based compounds are incompatible or prohibited. Typical applications include petrochemical plant flange bolts, exhaust system hardware, boiler fittings, furnace components, valve stems, and threaded connections subject to extreme heat, corrosion, or galvanic environments. NIKAL is also widely used in oil and gas wellhead equipment, nuclear, and aerospace maintenance where nickel-compatible chemistry is required by specification.
